ok cubus. i'm very happy that it works , but i've tryed every thing to delete those
all weapons .
this demo is a snipers only mod. and with all weapons my members wont be to happy
with it.
so if you have a idea it's welcome.

Does it work? amazing .... I had not expected so........... but thats a good news
in case of weapon-mod...... maybe a conflict between new and old mapscript?

ok it works
but now i have all weapons at the start up.
once after beeing killed i get the sniper rifle. so have to delete the all weapons.
server IP is 69.28.221.160 check it out

best thing might be to pack all needed stuff in one extra-pk3
modded mapscript "MP_Stadt_DM.scr" in folder maps/dm
this missed "unitsquare.skc" in folder "models/fx/unitsquare"
and i think, this needed snow-textures are also not packed in demo-files. so search in AA for snow1.tga - snow12.tga in folder textures/weather.
pack them also in your new pk3, folder-path like above

yep 364 corona's. and lots of work.
will try to upload the corona_reg files , but where do i place them in the server? in what map or pak file.
or should i make them a pk3 file???
i also added the corona in the DMprecache.scr , so the game will find it aswell.
i will try that and will let you know if it works or not.

so, all this little spots are spawned static/corona_reg's ?........... holly shit, lot of work...
and excelent... too...
i guess, if you load this demo-files on your server, this static/corona_reg.tik maybe missed....
i dont know, if you have to install also the standard pk3 from AA or SH, if not this might be the source of error...
try to pack/uoload also the needed corona-files from sh-packeges
thats only a thinking.......... not sure. i have to search on my old mashine for this demo-files... and verivy this idea....
edit:
okay, i found this demo-files. as far as i see, one file isnt packed in this demo.... "unitsquare.skc" is missed....
search for this file in AA-pk3's.. must be located in folder models/fx/unitsquare
thats just a thought.....

hi cubus thx for the quick reply here
1st question : yes it's for spearhead demo.
2nd question : yes it only works on my machine.
3th question : this is what i used for the lights.
local.fix1 = spawn script_model
local.fix1 model "static/corona_reg.tik"
local.fix1.origin = ( 838 2538 -972 )
local.fix1.scale = 0.5
there is no banner. i dont know how to make it, like i said i only started scripting 6 months a go.
i did learn it myself by reading the forums at modtheather. so i tryed to make the best of it.
the weapons are sniper rifles only.
i installed a teleport in the map and that works , but i dont see any lights.
i will send you the script file on your email so you can see what i have done here

hi tsunami,
nice to see you here on BBMD and read your post........
hm... let me see what we can do
but first some questions.
1.) is this for a spearhead or a breakthrough-server?
i really dont know very much this released demos, but i guess... it was for spearhead
2.) i see there 3 moddifications....
- snow falling down
- a banner with "happy 2010" over the bridge
- some kind of lightdots on the balustrade
is that right?
3.) this mod is running on a private server... means..... moddification runs on your local-mashine well?
4.) then you put this mod. script and all the other stuff - f.E. textures, shaders, other files - in a valid pk3 in right folder-stucture?
give the pk3 a name like "zzz_my_modd.pk3".... for example, restart the server?
anyway i am not sure about the fact, that a demo accept modded files.... but you wrote something about a weapon-mod. if this work, it might be possible.
one more question. weapon-mod means, that you dissable the "granatwerfer" on both sides too?
btw....... moddifications like yours are not really "noobs job"..... you are a little genius ... i guess
lol ... nice idea to let it snow in malta. in reality i guess, the people from malta didnt see snow for the last 1000 years.

hi all.
sorry but my german isn't that perfect.
i'm from belgium and i run a demo server
( sniper only & all weapons server )
for the demo i've made a christmas theme but for some reason
it doesnt work.
tryed it in the map.scr and even made a scr.file for the global map.
in a private server it works but when i upload it in the server it doesnt work.
the map is malta and the theme is quit simple, is the demo so hard to script or am i over looking something.
but no luck , can some one help me out here.
BTW Cubus nice Omaha snow map.
PS: i'm only scripting for 6 months or so, so i'm a bit of a noob here
